Film Director and creative partner

I have written my first screenplay, I am an actor and writer in Los Angeles. I have made this screenplay not only for myself to play the lead but to combine my other abilities. This is my biggest passion project ever. I have written a story of a young former competitive driver who has given up his past dreams after a terrible accident. He is left to pick up the pieces of the mess he made, as well as cope with his anxiety and panic attacks he sustains due to PTSD. This all culminates in a final chase sequence where our lead has to find a way to outrun whatever is chasing him, and it may not be what he thinks it is. This is a project that is incredibly personal to me as it combines my actual past, present, and hopeful future. I plan to do all driving stunts myself as well as have another main stunt driver also play their character. I want this experience to be incredibly immersive, I feel it’s the only way to have a story like this told. I raced cars professionally for 10 years and am looking for a way to incorporate my past into my current endeavors in acting. This will be a very metaphorical film as our main “villain”, is real, but not in the sense the audience first thinks. I have written this project to take place hopefully in remote location with very few characters, 4-5 max. As I am only a writer and actor, and am working on securing funds to make this happen. I need other experienced creatives on this with me to really make this one as special as I think it can be.
