Black Cab (feature film)

Who are you, and what do you do?
We are filmmakers who are in post production on our debut feature film ‘Black Cab’, which we shot on a micro budget in London.

What’s the project, and what do you need from a freelancer?
‘Black Cab’ is an ambitious micro-budget indie and our debut feature film. It is around 97 minutes in length, but not every minute of that requires music. We are looking for a composer to work with on the score. We are very low budget, but there is a rate for a composer.

When do you need you project delivered?
Ideally, we would like a score by end of November or earlier, but this is flexible. We are happy to discuss needs, of course.

Can you provide examples of your preferred style?
We’ve used music from Solaris (composer Cliff Martinez) in our picture lock cut to give you an idea of where we’re at mentally with the sound. We also hired and worked with a composer for our trailer that is another example of tone/mood that we like for this project.
