The Boulderer

Actor is needed in Manchester, United Kingdom.

The Boulderer is a narrative short film following the story of a young man struggling to come to terms with Alopecia- areata. Auto-immune condition causing random hair loss at any age. His inner journey from resistance to acceptance of his condition is played out through a dangerous obsession with climbing.

We have independently raised over £3000 for the films production and believe
it is really strong idea that could do very well on the film festival circuit.

Furthermore, Climbing is a sport with a lot of current buzz, and although it’s been covered a lot in a documentary format, we believe there’s a real appetite for a narrative focused piece with the backdrop of climbing.

The film will be entirely based in and around Manchester. We are currently looking for the films co-lead role.
