“Visa-ble Nerves” is a short comedic film that follows Abdulmajeed, a young man from the Middle East, as he goes to the US embassy to apply for a visa. As he waits in the embassy’s waiting room, Abdulmajeed accidentally drops his passport, and a woman who is also waiting in the room picks it up. She begins speaking to him in Arabic, but Abdulmajeed struggles with English, leading to some humorous miscommunications. When Abdulmajeed is called into the interview room, he faces a stern American interviewer who asks him questions he finds difficult to answer. Throughout the interview, Abdulmajeed’s nerves and misunderstandings lead to hilariously awkward moments.
