Yes, it sounds as crazy as the title says. I’m asking you to practice your acting skills in front of my family. I would prefer someone who’s good at pretending to be Muslim for this role- I’m seriously willing to pay a good amount for what is essentially a really easy job. You’re gonna have to sign a paper and before anything else, relax, it has no legal weight, at least to you. See, I’m getting married and I need an extra witness, and it’s gonna be an Islamic wedding so the witness should preferably be male and a POC. There’s no tricks or cons to this, you’re gonna be briefed on exactly who you have to pose as in this very intimate wedding ceremony that is a performance for my Muslim family. Let me know if this is something that interests you, and I will do everything to ensure that you don’t see it as a con. It wont take more than a few hours of your time, and the gig will take place in a public location for everyone’s convenience and obviously if you have any doubts to your safety cause I can understand the proposition is kinda weird. Nevertheless, it can be easily explained for what has to be the easiest job ever in this industry, just gotta be a witness.
