Freelance UX Designers with TS Clearance

We are seeking Freelance Sr. UX/UI Designers with an active TS Clearance. The right candidates will possess a great balance of creativity, analytical skills, and research capabilities. You will help solve some of our nation’s most complex user experience challenges as you contribute to upcoming requests from the Department of Defence.

Contract Work - Hybrid
Most of the work is taking place in San Diego, but a lot of the work does require a minor level of domestic traveling depending on the section of the assignment.

Assignment information

Fall 2023 is the intended start date for the assignment.
We are looking to promptly fill these requirements and are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of expertise in UX & Service Design, including journey mapping, co-creation, service blueprinting, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in User-centered and Human-centered design methodologies.
• Strong group facilitation skills, including with senior leaders.
• Lead end-to-end design within the product lifecycle.
• An epic portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design process.
• Experience with service design deliverables such as: ecosystem mapping, information architecture diagrams, concept service prototypes, service blueprinting (current & future -state), user story mapping & persona development.
• Set UX vision, involve team, and engage stakeholders.
• Skilled in qualitative user research methods.
• Proficient in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Miro, InVision, Adobe Creative, etc.).
• Collaborate with PM and Dev team for project success.
• Excellent adaptable communication skills.
• You can easily define problems and opportunities.
• • 2 years of Knowledge of agile software development

• 1 year of Knowledge of CSS/SCSS or Javascript

Technical Requirements

You are a US Citizenship
You have an active TS Clearance. Preferably TS/SCI clearance.
A COVID-19 vaccination may be required for your work (Being a Federal Government contractor may find it necessary).

Contract

Ongoing work with a range of assignments spanning 1 to 3 years.
