Job Description:
We are looking for creatives who are passionate about expressing themselves through art, particularly in the form of poetry, writing, song, photography, graphic design, illustration, painting, and collage. We want individuals who have something to say and who want to contribute to a counterculture zine called ANARKISS.

ANARKISS is a punk-inspired zine that focuses on social resistance, defiance, and liberation. It aims to celebrate misfits and marginalized voices, and provides a platform for political art that questions the status quo. The zine is raw, disruptive, provocative, and confrontational, and is open to submissions from all creatives.

We are particularly interested in hearing from queer individuals, people of color, and women.

The zine encourages work that is anti-capitalist, anti-war, anti-authority, gender-bending, Tory-hating, patriarchy-smashing, pro sex-work, and kink-friendly. It is designed to evoke tuts of dismay from the respectable public, and welcomes content that pushes boundaries.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a project that celebrates art and provides a platform for alternative voices. Accepted submissions will be published in print.

Requirements:

• Passionate about self-expression through art
• Expertise in one or more creative fields (poetry, writing, song, photography, graphic design, illustration, painting, collage)
• Strong interest in counterculture and social resistance
• Open to exploring themes of anti-capitalism, anti-war, anti-authority, gender-bending, Tory-hating, patriarchy-smashing, pro sex-work, and kink
• Ability to create provocative and confrontational art
• Ability to produce high-quality artwork
• Excellent communication skills
