JOB DESCRIPTION
The Social Media Manager at Columbus Cartography promotes the company brand to drive sales through digital channels. They create original text, images, and video content across multiple platforms. COMPENSATION
- $30-33/hr
- Paid every two weeks
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategize messaging, goals, and content design for social media and website
- Develop and manage a content calendar
- Create and manage profiles on various social media platforms
- Publish creative and engaging content across platforms
- Engage with viewers and potential customers
- Track and analyze performance metrics
- Write reports on social media metrics
- Advise on collaborations and engagement opportunities
- Take photos and videos, attend events for promotion
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 1+ years of social media marketing experience across various platforms
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Required
- Professional writing, SEO, photography
- Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, file sharing tools
- Knowledge of copyright laws and ability to work in teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and implement feedback
Preferred
- Knowledge of cartography and local geography
- Public speaking skills
