Job Description
The Streamable is looking for streaming enthusiasts to help millions of cord-cutters learn about what’s happening in the world of media. This freelance writing opportunity involves covering streaming services such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, Prime Video, YouTube TV, and others. The role is perfect for recent journalism school graduates and young journalists looking to enhance their writing skills under the mentorship of an experienced managing editor.
This fully remote position requires availability starting at 9am ET.
Requirements
- Writing 3-8 timely news articles per day (~400 words each)
- Opportunity for more articles with pitches or evergreen assignments
- Compensation of $20/hour with a minimum of $20 per article and potential bonuses for pitched stories
- Potential to have up to $25 of streaming services covered if writing more than 20 articles per month
