Job Description:

NewGen is seeking a software engineer to join their clients team for a software development of multi-tiered client-server solutions using Java, JavaScript, HTML, Databases, and Web Services. The role involves part-time (20 hours per week) long-term contract work on remote projects. The candidate must have experience in front-end and UI software development, full stack knowledge, creating user-friendly interfaces, and deploying software bundles to AWS Cloud environment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Front-End and UI software development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, Databases, Web Services, and Bootstrap
  • 2+ years of experience with Unix environment, shell scripts, Apache NetBeans
  • 5+ years of full stack knowledge and experience in creating responsive single-page user interfaces
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL and SQL Server
  • 2+ years of experience with Git
  • 1+ years of experience with creating software bundles for deployment to AWS Cloud environment
