My early years were spent with my nose in a comic book. My father and I shared a deep passion for comics, and together we delved into the captivating worlds of Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, IronMan, Hulk, Conan, GhostRider, and Spawn. At the time, I simply thought I was engrossed in thrilling stories, but with hindsight, I realized it was also my first introduction to the immense power images hold. In the pivotal year of 11th grade, I was honored to be awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious summer graphic design program at Carnegie Mellon University. It was during this transformative experience that I truly grasped the profound impact of design—how color can evoke human emotion and how the mere shape of a letter can communicate an entire idea. This exposure to graphic design sealed the deal for me; it awakened the latent artist within, and I resolved to become a modern-day Donatello. Following my high school graduation, I eagerly enrolled at the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in graphic design, and I have never looked back. During my junior year, I received the esteemed distinction of winning a juror's award in 1997 for a compelling portfolio campaign promoting the autobiography of rock star Marilyn Manson. Throughout my college years, I dedicated most of my spare time to engaging in various Graphic Design Club activities. It was within this club that I explored the emerging multimedia applications like Flash, Director, and Quark Express Media. Beyond nurturing my creative side, the Graphic Design Club proved instrumental in understanding the practical aspects of design, enabling me to translate concepts into tangible creations. With each passing day, my focus on multimedia intensified, ultimately leading me to embark on an independent study program in animation and motion programming during my final two years. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, I embarked on an enriching chapter of my professional journey as the Media Director for IBM Global Services. I consider this period akin to my real-world graduate school, where I managed a team of talented designers, programmers, and animators. This invaluable experience taught me the delicate art of balancing creativity with the practical limitations of technology. Our collective efforts were rewarded with several Telly Awards in 1999 and 2002, recognizing the outstanding work we produced. IBM provided an ideal environment for me to explore the latest interactive design and programming technologies. Countless late nights spent in the office allowed me to gain extensive hands-on experience with tools such as Flash, Director, XML, Javascript, Lingo, Actionscript, and After Effects. In 2003, I made the leap into freelancing as a Creative Technical Director. I had the privilege of working with prominent Atlanta agencies like Avenue A|Razorfish and Moxie Interactive, while also undertaking projects for McGraw-Hill in Monterey, California.

I offer over 20 years of experience as a creative technologist, motion designer, and digital designer with success in brand integration, front-end interactive media development, and video post-production. Combining my expertise in both creative and technical domains has been instrumental in the continual enhancement of my artistic abilities, as well as the application of these skills to encapsulate cutting-edge technologies in the digital realm. My proficiency in Motion Design, Graphic Design, and Digital Design equips me to collaborate with the creative team, engaging in vibrant brainstorming sessions to shape captivating visual concepts. Subsequently, I assume the role of guiding the production team in materializing these ideas into reality. Taking a project from its conceptual stage to full-fledged production has consistently ignited a profound ardor within me. The ever-changing landscape of our society is propelled by constant technological advancements in both hardware and software, shaping our daily experiences. Humans immerse themselves in digital media that captivates our visual and auditory senses. In my role as a creative developer, I am committed to staying abreast of these technologies in order to deliver captivating user experiences. During my tenure at Saatchi & Saatchi, while working on Smart Display Dynamic banner advertisements, we leveraged Google's Marketing Platform to strategically target specific regions in the United States to influence the audience's decision to purchase a Toyota vehicle. With a comprehensive skill set encompassing production design, creativity, animation, coding, and engineering, I rolled up my sleeves and immersed myself in the task at hand. I successfully created Smart Display Dynamic banners that seamlessly integrated into both the Google Marketing Platform and MediaOcean's Flashtalking Platform. These skills and principles extend beyond the automotive industry, enabling me to effectively engage audiences with any brand product, establishing a meaningful connection. During my tenure as a Media Director at IBM, I was crucial in bridging the gap between the engineering and creative teams. As someone who embraces both the analytical and creative aspects, I collaborated closely with the innovative team to transform their visionary User Interface Design concepts into fully functional interfaces. This allowed the engineering team to seamlessly integrate these interfaces into the application under development. By comprehending the realms of both creativity and engineering, I aimed to craft user experiences that deeply resonated with human emotions, yielding positive impacts. I eagerly anticipate applying my skills across diverse industries, recognizing the interconnectedness of culture, design, and technology in today's world. Embracing the principles inherent in these three pivotal domains fosters a captivating synergy that fuels creative innovation, making the process an enjoyable end
